Ben Franklin on Freedom :
"What a dream! Two hundred years and I wonder...I wonder how I should find them...
those Americans to whom the name AMERICAN will not be new. Will they love liberty
being given it outright in the crib for nothing? Will they know if you are not free, you
are lost without hope? And will they who reap this harvest of ideas be willing to strive
to preserve them as we so willingly strove to plant them...Would they die for it? And
the answer one must say is: "yes, sir, I would. "

TAPS
These are probably the most famous 24 notes in history. I have found the words to
this haunting melody played at military funerals since 1862. The image of the flag
behind the words flies daily in our front yard. It is from the casket of my brother-in-law's
brother Jim who died in the Korean War.

NO PERSON AMONG US
desires any other reward for performing a brave and worthy action, but
the consciousness of having served our nation." This quote is from my Native
American Collection, from Chief Thayendaneg of the Mohawk Nation. Over the
past 30 years I have researched and created thoughtful ideas from chiefs and
medicine men. Mine is the only collection professionally hand lettered with my
own style of calligraphy designed to reflect the Native American culture. All
trim is authentic, taken from rugs, pottery and sand paintings. To view the
