#1373 Red Hat (I'm not going to wait until I'm old to wear purple and red... |

Written
by a British woman, this classic describes women's need for freedom from
the usual social mores. It is symbolized by the red hat worn with purple,
which the Victorian fashion police had listed as a no-no. It is amusing
that young people view older people as not having the right to rebel.
What thoughts lay under that grey hair? Wouldn't the "beautiful people"
be surprised at the creativity and wisdom of these women!
